Boulderstrike-npc
Short Description: a pale creamish thin, long legged tom with vague brown markings and a single golden yellow eye.Appearance:
A pale creamish tom with a thin build, he sports very little markings in the form of spots and some stripes. These range from a dark brown to a light brown, the most noticeable of these is the dark stripe down his back that splits into three rounded markings on the top of his head and the three lighter rings on his tail. The right side of his face is heavily scarred and while the cheek fluff has finally grown back, the large scar there won’t ever heal. His right eye is merely a hollow socket, the eye that was there long ago having been removed. He's very similar to his mother in looks due to his fur and the shared stripe.
Personality:
Positive-
Serious, realist, Resourceful
↪ often he can be serious however he does know that you can’t be serious all the time. Thus his seriousness is often tied to what is going on.
↪Dimthunder knows the world isn’t fair and not everything goes to plan, thus you have to know when to try something outlandish and when to take caution. As much as he wishes that being hopeful was enough, he knows it isn’t enough. You have to work on things to have them happen. Thus he will burst someone’s bubble if it’s way too out there when there are more serious matters at paw.
↪Due to how he had to adapt to going half blind at a young age, Dimthunder utilizes different ways to help him do things. He pays attention to the environment and how to use it to his advantage or if something shouldn’t be messed with.
Neutral
Reserved, Questioning, Solemn
↪Dimthunder keeps much to himself, such as thoughts and worries when it comes to himself and personal fears. To him, no one needs to worry about his problems. He’ll keep his problems out of everyone else’s way.
↪When it comes to other things however, Dimthunder does voice his thoughts and questions. If someone is getting ready to cross a line or his opinion is asked, he will speak up and he won’t hold it in if the clan is at stake.
↪ Dimthunder knows that he’s just one cat and regardless of whatever path he gets in life, it will only do so much good. One cat won’t change things, one cat doesn’t make a true difference. He does know his weaknesses and the limits he has. And he knows to not expect others to follow the path to change. He just...struggles with the potiental that he could help cause a change and fears that if he ever did, no one would take it seriously like he would.
Negative-
insecure, paranoid, grudgeful
↪Dimthunder doesn’t view himself very well, and while he keeps it to himself, he doesn’t try to pursue some things due to the scars he bears. He does wonder if he's making the right choices and wants to aim for his dreams again but doesn't wish for things to go downhill again. Should he aim for the stars or just aim for normal life? It's so hard to know.
↪some things still haunt Dimthunder, and these things make him afraid. While he does his best to not let these fear and thus the paranoia from them guide his choices, it is still something in the back of his mind that nags him. Keeps him up and sometimes, does slip through.
↪While it’s possible that he can forgive others, if something is left to fester for moons it is very likely that will just make Dimthunder bitter. However he doesn’t seek out these cats. Now if they showed they changed and wanted to start a new, depending on the severity of the issue, would depend on if Dimthunder forgives.
History:
Dimthunder's family is very complicated, all thanks to his grandfather Eaglebreeze; whom he's never met. But that is for Quailbelly to tell. Dimkit was born with his sister Lightkit to his parents, who while young warriors; twenty moons, were very happy to have this family. Sadly due to his mother's heavier build and the signature muscle of the clan, Dimkit was frowned upon for his thin build and long legs. This along with Eaglebreeze's actions, caused cats to make rude remarks about Quailbelly having slept around with a Elkclan warrior. It was all false of course and his parents fought these accusations every time. Lightkit had it a bit easier, she inherited more of her parents strong frames and was able to make friends, Dimkit on the other paw was pretty out of place.
He wanted to be hopeful for his apprenticeship and at six moons, Dimkit became Dimpaw and his nervous heart was pounding in his chest. But he was happy and being assigned a mentor just made his heart soar. The young tom was already trying to think of how he could make them proud and what things they would learn. He wanted to fit into his clan despite his appearance. He knew he could do this and while Darknose was a somewhat scary mentor, it was going rather well. On the same day he became a apprentice, his mother even got one!
But at eight moons, things went wrong. A routine time out in the territory went awriy when a predator attacked them and Darknose instructed Dimpaw to help them fight. Obeying his mentor, Dimpaw fought with all the strength and courage he had. It did result in the beast hitting his face and even getting a hit against his throat. The patrol managed to chase the east away and Darknose with their clanmates got the injuried apprentice back to camp. It was a close call for a while if the apprentice would make it, thankfully the claw marks to his throat weren’t deep enough to hit anything though there was no saving his eye; frankly there was no eye left even when they brought him back. Just an empty black hole with blood leaving it. Staying in the medicine cat den for a couple of moons was the longest and most boring time, however sleep was often plagued by the event in the form of nightmares. Considering how he was only taken into another family for his survival, his ‘siblings’ didn’t visit nor his adopted mother. So the young tom merely stayed there with only the medicine cat for company with the rare visit from his mentor; who was often busy with warrior duties.
When he was allowed out of the medicine cat den, Dimpaw had a lot of catching up to do with training. He didn’t shy away from it, the young tom still wanted to find his place in the clan yet he felt like that would be impossible now. As he trained, he struggled due to lacking one eye. It made every movement feel strange and odd. His mentor still encouraged him and Dimpaw found himself talking with some of the elders who had lost their sight for advice. With the aid of these cats, Dimpaw started to find ways that he could overcome the disorienting aspect of half his sight.
During this time, he and his sister became tweleve moons old. Only for her to become a warrior; along with his mom's apprentices. Lightpaw was Lightcall and Dimpaw was still...Dimpaw. Unknown to him, his mother and Darknose spoke to Cloudstar and gave their desire for what his warrior name would be when he got there. He was fourteen moons when it happened and he became Dimthunder. It..had a odd sound to it. A really odd one but it was after his vigil that his mother revealed the what it meant. He was thankful for that and he settled into warrior life best he could. Some cats would make jeers at him still for being a thin twig and some even said he should go join Elkclan.
Cloudstar gave him an apprentice when he was twenty moons, Boulderpaw. A young cat with a very….loud personality. They weren’t very motivated yet they boasted on how good they were with things they hadn’t really tackled yet. To Dimthunder, they were a youngster with a ‘i am Starclan’ mentality, oh boy.
At first, Dimthunder merely tried to teach the youth as he doubted they would really listen to him. The entire time Boulderpaw challenged him, remarking about how the older cat was doing things wrong or weirdly. Their first two moons together weren’t good. It just seemed like the two were too opposite...that is, when Dimthunder caught Boulderpaw trying to impress some warriors that the tom recognized. The two cats could’be been family to his apprentice. Boulderpaw looked nothing like them, perhaps they had different fathers? From what Dimthunder witnessed, the two warriors berated the apprentice. Remarking about how they had a terrible mentor and Dimthunder put it all together. The youth was just being a bird, repeating what he heard from those he looked up to. That...that wouldn’t fly.
Dimthunder made his approach careful, the stealth he had worked on hard carrying his paws lightly until he was behind the two warriors and made his presence known with a swift whack to their ears with his paw. Startled, the two cats moved from Boulderpaw in surprise but Dimthunder didn’t let them have a chance to give their own retorts. Dimthunder stood up to them, holding his thinner fram tall and his head high, he glared at the other warriors with a golden eye and a hollow socket, tearing into them with his words of how wrong they were to treat their own sibling in such a manner, how wrong they were to jeer at others for whatever thick headed reason they had. Surprised by this display, the two warriors took the paler tom’s words and were swiftly whacked again before they ran off. Narrowing his gaze as they left, Dimthunder turned his one eye to Boulderpaw and apologized for not being there for him as a mentor should.
Boulderpaw was clearly confused but slowly started to open up to Dimthunder, revealing a young tom who just wanted to make their family proud and live up to everyone’s expectations of him. Seeing that the youth wasn’t as much of a pain as they seemed to be at first, Dimthunder opened up to them a small bit as well. The rest of the apprenticeship got easier with each moon, sure they sometimes had remarks to one another but if anyone watched their demeanor as they bantered they’d see that it was harmless fun, that Dimthunder had at least opened up to one cat outside of his immediate family. Boulderpaw became Boulderstrike and was a good young warrior. Taking some worry out of his mind for now.
Family:
Eaglebreeze; grandfather, exiled
Owlsong, grandmother
Quailbelly, mother
Barktooth, father
Lightcall, older sister.
He has various aunts and uncles that are half siblings to his mother due to Eaglebreeze cheating a lot in the clan.
He also has some family outside of the clans due Eaglebreeze mating with a kittypet and at had at least two kits with them.
Extra: Art is by me
his art is a older version of it so I will be redrawing it in the future, his colors and markings will stay the same.
He's one of my oldest boys in the warrior cats rp world. So he's gone through a lot of changes with some things staying the same.
