Wading Creek
A shallow creek meant for those learning to swim; the wading creek is ideal for practicing. Virtually without a current, the creek does have rare fish but is mostly home to frogs and insects. Wading Creek is prone to drying up during the hot moons of Greenleaf.

Heron's Roost
A flock of herons lives in an area where the river grows almost too broad. They frequent this marshy reed-filled area to raise their chicks and snack on various little fish. Cats brave enough to explore the area are warned about chick season and the protective nature of heron mothers. Nevertheless, it is a suitable spot for fishing and frog hunting and perhaps a decent spot for herb gathering.

Salmon's Leap
White water rapids where salmon, the fish, are most commonly seen leaping during the spawning season. Cats are advised not to go near the rapids but to fish at least four fox lengths on either side. When water is low, sure-footed cats can traverse the rapids.
