average in size, dappleheart is a very beautiful she-cat with stunning markings and medium fur she keeps endlessly neat. her tail is bobbed, and she has pale blue eyes.

named for her big heart, dappleheart is truly a cat that has enough love for everyone around her. caring toward others, she's always there for her clanmates - and even those out of clan, at gatherings and the like. she's a devout cat, praying to starclan before each meal, during long walks alone, before bed, and nearly every occasion worth celebrating.
trusting to almost a naive degree, dappleheart is easily swayed by the words of those around her. she trusts those around her to be honest, just as she is with them. she's careful with her words, never really one to be blunt unless she's been angered - which takes quite a lot to accomplish. however, her feelings are very easily hurt, and often cats step on her toes without her ever telling them how she feels. communicating her pain is one of her deepest weaknesses, and dappleheart unfortunately will let others walk all over her at times.
her biggest personal failing is jealousy. whether that's directed toward her mate, the opportunities of her clanmates, or even just some cat having a better piece of prey than her from the freshkill pile. dappleheart would never admit to her deep feelings of envy, though, unless entirely backed into a corner or made to express her feelings by someone she trusts, like her mate, brackentail. she's very ashamed of this aspect of her personality, and she does whatever she can to conceal it from others.
lastly, she's a bit lazy. not one for picking up extra patrols, dappleheart does what is required of her, nothing more, nothing less, and then retreats back to camp, where she can laze about and share tongues with her clanmates. she's often found as one of the last warriors in the den come morning, and unless she waits for brackentail to go to bed, she can often be the first in the den at night, too.
History:
born to a broken family, dapplekit grew up with her sisters wishing that their parents cared more about them. honeytail, their mother, didn't care for nursing and often pawned off her kits to the other nursing mothers. she left the nursery often and didn't seem to mind leaving her kits behind. dapplekit, spottedkit, and leafkit instead relied on one another to fill their lives with warmth and love. their father never came to see them, nor did he ever declare himself honeytail's mate, but cloudclaw was proud to have any progeny. he would have been more involved had any of the kits been male, though.
dapplepaw was apprentied to ferretwhisker, a very long, slinky cat with tabby markings. she looked up to her very much, absorbing as much knowledge as possible from the she-cat about the clan and the warrior code. it was ferretwhisker who taught her about starclan, instilling in her the values that dapplepaw went on to carry diligently within her own heart. spottedpaw and leafpaw never remained too far from their sister, and the three of them were closer than ever before now that they were no longer competing for their mother's attention in the nursery.
soon, dapplepaw became dappleheart, and her sisters spottedsky and leafear. spottedsky for her lofty goals and ideals, her head always in the clouds when she was not hunting and helping her clan. leafear for her almost mindboggling ability to hear most anything, most notably the footfalls of small prey when hunting. dappleheart was named for her ability to love, her passion for the clan, and the goodness of her very heart. she loved her name immediately, and felt that nothing else could be so fitting.
quite some time after becoming a warrior, dappleheart began to get closer with a tom by the name of brackentail. he was handsome, passionate, and everything that she'd ever asked starclan for in a mate. under a full moon's light, they declared one another to be mates, and several moons later, they had kits to prove it. dappleheart has everything she could have ever wanted, so now it's only a matter of time before something happens to make her lose it or to threaten what she has. only time will tell.
