Appearance:

petite in size, coalnose is naturally just a smaller cat. she's lithe and muscular, but of shorter stature than your typical clan cat. nevertheless, she makes up for it in spirit. her fur is all black and short, which she keeps as neat as possible. her eyes are yellow with an inner ring of pale green. her nose is slightly crooked, but you wouldn't notice it unless you looked quite closely.

coalnose is a sweet girl with a short temper, a penchant for trouble, and a shyness that often endears her to her clanmates. she's not ambitious, but she is very determined to do what is best for her clan in nearly all situations. she puts cougarclan first, and coalnose isn't afraid to fight for her clan.

History:

coalkit, amberkit, and rook-kit were born to a pair of typical cougarclan parents. their father, ravenheart, had an older litter of kits that their mother, pinewhisker, was often jealous of. their mother had died in childbirth, leaving other queens to fend for and raise the kits. nevertheless, ravenheart doted on all of his kits - not just one litter over another.

amberkit was a dark tabby she-cat with bright yellow eyes, rook-kit a black and white tom, and coalkit the all black runt of the litter. pinewhisker's unspoken favorite was coalkit, because she required so much more attention to make sure she got enough milk, wasn't being bullied by the other kits, and kept out of trouble. no matter that she was half the size of the other kits early on, coalkit was determined from the start to do everything her siblings did - and more.

as apprentices, they nearly all drowned because coalpaw dared them to go swimming once. thankfully, no one got hurt, but amberpaw did catch whitecough because of their misadventures. since then, the trio has stayed close, becoming warriors all within the same moon, and making sure that their bond remained close even after leaving the nursery and then the apprentice den.

rookjaw is the most protective of the three, stoic and quiet, but fiercely protective of his sisters. amberlight is feminine, flirtatious, and full of energy. meanwhile, coalnose is the headstrong, somewhat quiet type - though she's far friendlier than her brother.
