Short Appearance for Ranks: A reasonably large, long haired, fluffy, white she-cat with dull amber eyes.
Appearance:
Sheepcloud is a reasonably large cat, though is the smallest of the litter of three that she was born into. What makes up the bulk of her, is sheer fluff (likening her irrecovably to her namesake, the humble sheep) - if she were to have no hair for whatever reason, she would be a very small cat. Dull amber eyes sit within her fluff, constantly scanning her surroundings. Dainty pointed whiskers are constantly in motion to complement this, she never sits still for too long. She tries her hardest to keep on top of her grooming habits, but is constantly never able to get all of her, and she never wants to bother anyone else for help.
History: Sheepcloud was born to Marigoldbreath and Bullwasp, alongside her littermates Ramkit and Goatkit. She was the youngest kit and only she-cat, so was seen as nothing but a liability next to two strapping young toms (she was born into an ultra-strict, ultra culty family that highly subscribed to CougarClan's 'pureblooded' ideals). In an attempt to steer her forcefully in the right direction, and to keep her from becoming distracted by childish things, she was assigned to Bisonstorm, her overbaring grandfather, when she reached the age of 6 moons and became an apprentice. Her training was strict, well disciplined and never, ever easy. For each 'normal' apprentice training session, she would have to do several extra because her grandfather was convinced she would come to nothing, so she volunteered for all the extra patrols that she could, in an attempt to prove herself to him, that she was in fact as good as her brothers.
As she grew, she began to attract the attention of toms, due purely to her pretty colouring and friendly personality. This was immediately noticed by the males of her family, and so the plot was born to betroth her. When she hits a specific age (which will be worked out in due course) she is to be paired off, in order to continue the strong dominant CougarClan pureblood bloodline, in order to bear litters of kits that will take up and continue the legacy set to them.
Goateye, her oldest brother, was entirely displeased with this plot, and argued as such, saying that Sheepcloud should be able to choose her own mate and make those important decisions on her own merit.
As far as Sheepcloud knows, her brother was swept off the side of the gorge. In reality, it was Bisonstorm who dealt with the problem that Goateye had presented.
Sheepcloud herself has no idea of this plot.
Personality: Sheepcloud has inherited her mother's gentle side, but this is well hidden; the reality of her upbringing and challenging apprenticeship have taught her that showing any kind of emotion can be seen as a sign of weakness, and therefore to not do it. She therefore keeps her true emotions under wraps, showing any kind of emotion only when alone, or when she is with a cat she truly cares about. She is careful and calculated, but determined to continue proving herself to the much stronger cats of her family; including Bisonstorm, who she idolises. She isn't truly close to any of her family members, but views family with the utmost importance. She is loyal to them above all others, if an order given to her by a member of her family would directly disobey the Clan leader, she would choose to follow her family over said leader.
She has ambition, but prefers it to be directed by cats other than her. She prefers to defer to her family for all important decisions.
She is beautiful, and she knows this. She enjoys the attention this affords her, but she knows full well that none of the toms that find her suitable for them, would be suitable for her family. Therefore, if she could, she would rather just have her eventual mate chosen for her (which would definitely take the pressure off of her, and prevent her from choosing the wrong cat that could lead to imperfect offspring and therefore bring shame and dishonour to the family).
